Our National Parks are treasures of unspoiled beauty and variety. To help you explore them the National Trust have chosen four National Park walks for you to discover on foot over 2 days – Exmoor, the Lake District, the Peak District and the South Downs.
The walks have been written by environment and travel journalist Mark Rowe. All five walking routes have been walked personally by Mark and put together with the local knowledge of National Trust rangers who are passionate about the landscapes in their care. Indeed, 40 per cent of the land that the National Trust looks after is found in National Parks.
The full two day-hikes are aimed at the more ambitious walker but they are designed for you to dip in and out of as you please over two days or more.
