Product information

The Captis Birdie ski from Black Crows are one of our most popular women's All-Mountain skis. These are an energetic, responsive and fun-loving ski that are designed for someone who mainly skis groomed runs but would like a bit of width under-foot if you feel the hunger for a bit of off-piste powder. Black Crows manage to strike the perfect balance with this mid-width offering, without the sacrifice of edge-to-edge response.

The Captis Birdie features the classic rocker-camber-rocker design in the profile that allows you to initiate turns easily without sacraficing the ability to tighten or loosen the radius of your turns when you want to. The flex furthers this theme, with a comfortable and accessible feeling under-foot making these skis an absolute breeze to cruise around the mountain on. These are softer than the unisex version of the Captis, designed specifically for smaller and lighter skiers.

Don't let the polite and playful demeanour of the flex and profile fool you though, these are some seriously rapid skis. Featuring a sintered graphite base for higher speeds on the slopes and a lightweight Poplar wood construction, these skis are more than capable of a few hero runs to the next lift and frankly, with skis this good it would be rude not to.
